The Maverik team finished the season on a high competing in the final round of the B.Y.M.X. Championship at Brookthorpe ten days ago.

Gaining in confidence, Josh Brine hit the 5th spot twice as well as taking a 3rd and a l2th place which left the youngster 6th overall on the day and 6th overall in the Championship.

Qualifying in pole position Lewis Trickett had two second places and two 3rd’s which saw him take the final step on the podium for the weekend and an overall fifth place in the Championship.

As the close season draws on Trickett will be testing a 144 KTM and a 250 four-stroke in preparation for the 08 season and will be heading west this weekend to compete in the annual Western Super Mare beach race.

Keen to get a head of the competition next season the team will be training in the U.K., Europe and the U.S.A. before returning to Blighty for their campaign next year.
