After a recent mid-season break, Lewis Trickett, Jake Shipton and Josh Brine, took the Maverik banner to Brookthorpe last weekend for the B.S.M.A. Finals.

The two day event saw Lewis Trickett confirming his ability by taking a hard fought second spot in the seniors while Jake pulled out all the stops in the big wheel 85 group to take the third step on the podium.

Josh Brine, unintentionally provided the drama for the team when he was airlifted to Bristol hospital for x-rays after being hit whilst trying to remount from a fall. Thankfully the spirited youngster was released from hospital a few hours later with nothing more than bruises and swelling and returned to spend the rest of the weekend supporting his team-mates.
