Despite the appalling weather of late Maverik racers Lewis Trickett and Jake Shipton travelled to Landrake in Cornwall for the long awaited second round of the B.S.M.A. Best of British championship.

Struggling with mechanical problems Jake was forced to retire from the meeting half way through the first moto, leaving Lewis Trickett to fly the Maverik Flag.

Finishing second in the first race Trickett was leading the second race before dropping the bike in the thick Conush mud. Re-mounting he fought his way back through the pack to take an eventual fourth place and second overall in the rain soaked meeting. whilst still maintaining his overall lead in the series.
